Everything event planners, couples, parents and venues ask before booking an act — answered straight.
What kinds of acts can I book?
Magic Magic is a full agency — we book illusionists, mentalists and mind readers, close-up and stage magicians, birthday party magicians, corporate and trade show acts, comedy magicians, stage hypnotists, fire and specialty performers, and virtual shows. Tell us your event and we'll match the right act.
How do I book, and who do I talk to?
Booking is handled personally by Dan Kranstz, our sales lead. Call or text 905-299-9114 or email Dan directly, and you'll get availability, recommended acts and a quote within one business day.
What areas do you serve?
Home base is Toronto and the GTA — Mississauga, Oakville, Vaughan, Markham, Brampton, Hamilton — with regular dates across Ontario (Ottawa, London, Kitchener, Niagara) and touring acts available across Canada, from Montreal and Halifax to Calgary and Vancouver.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates — December holidays and Saturdays — often book 2–3 months out. National tour dates route seasonally, so out-of-province events benefit from more notice. For most other dates, 3–4 weeks is comfortable, and it never hurts to ask about short-notice availability.
Are your performers insured?
Yes. Our acts carry liability insurance accepted by venues nationwide, and certificates are available on request for hotels, schools and convention centres.
What do you need from the venue?
Close-up and strolling acts need nothing at all. Stage, illusion and specialty shows need a performance area and setup access — every technical detail is advanced directly with your venue.
What size audiences do you perform for?
Everything from a living-room birthday to ballroom galas and theatres of several hundred. We match the format to the room: close-up for mingling crowds, parlour shows for intimate rooms, and full stage or illusion productions for large audiences.
Can the show be customized to our company or theme?
Absolutely — customization is the point. Corporate acts weave in your product, message and branding; private events are themed to the occasion.
Do you offer virtual or online shows?
Yes — we book fully interactive virtual magic shows for remote teams and online events, produced for Zoom, Teams and Meet.
Do you book more than one act for the same event?
Often. Many clients pair a strolling act for the reception with a stage headliner after dinner, or build a full variety bill with a magician, mentalist and specialty acts. Dan will help you program the night.
